This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

“Oakitecture”
Not sure which is more beautiful- the towering oak or the architectural grandeur of this >100 year old historic home underneath it in Stoughton, WI on Prospect street. I've been informed that this house was built by the founder of Stoughton for one of his daughters! The bricks were originally painted white and had to be painstakingly stripped to reach the condition you see now.
Image captured 12/15/22 with Pentax K-1 and DFA15-30mm lens at 21mm.

About Peter Herman
Peter Herman was born and raised on a farm in North Dakota. He first became interested in photography during high-school, and after acquiring a Pentax SLR, began taking photos for the school yearbook and developing/printing B&W images in school darkroom. He continued shooting through college, taking portraits, group pictures, weddings, but after beginning his engineering career at Cummins, he let his photography interests go dormant until about 2005 when he acquired his first DSLR and started shooting scenic landscapes from around the US, but concentrating especially on rural areas in ND and WI. Many of his images were encountered while riding motorcycle down random backroads during "golden hour", searching for that magic light...
