Probably my favorite of several artists most of the time, Hilary, and I really appreciate you doing an emulative painting of your own creation rather than copying! one of the artist's. And I think it succeeds wonderfully: it makes me feel almost joyful, and a few time wanting to cry! How wonderful and solitary tree, so perfectly shaped and fitted into the forground of the canvas and creating such deep perspective. And Monet loved the sea so much!
