Lois Bryan replied:

Thank you, Barbara ... this was taken after a sizable snow storm ... and though I kept the feeders full, these funny guys were still squabbling!!!

Lois Bryan replied:

thank you, Florin!!!

I really can't fathom how you did this piece, but I love the cheekiness of these guys - great job.

Lois Bryan replied:

thank you, Jo .. a lot of photoshopping, but the two shots of the birds are in sequence as it happened ... glad you enjoyed it!!!

Very funny! How on earth did you get that? V. beautiful also.

Lois Bryan replied:

Rohan, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your visits and lovely notes ... as YOUR newest and biggest fan, I'm beyond honored!!!!! The story behind this shot is really quite simple. It was winter and there was snow everywhere ... I leave bird seed out year 'round, but especially in winter. The starlings usually come in groups, and they are very comical birds. The camera was in its usual place on the kitchen counter with the 70-300mm sitting on the kitchen counter, and when the starlings came by, I snuck up to the French doors and started snapping. I just got lucky with this one!!! It was all cutting and pasting in Photoshop to get the "story" ... but the posture of the birds and the sequence is as it actually occurred!!!

Excellent work, really very well done!!

Lois Bryan replied:

Thank you, Madalena!!!

Marvelous little birds your Starlings. Fun personalities. Lois your Diptych and text presentation is absolutely wonderful. Visiting your gallery is always a joy. v/f

Lois Bryan replied:

Aww Bob, thanks ... you know I feel the same about your own portfolio!!!! This particular shot was taken on a deep, dark winter's day when the snow had lain round about for WAY too long. I keep the camera in the kitchen half the time to snap at my birdie visitors, and when the starlings came that day it was like a gift. They really had me laughing. Glad I could share some of the fun.

Madalena, a million thanks to you for the feature in your beautiful group "Female Artists" I'm truly honored!!!!!!! Also, a sincere thank you to everyone who left such lovely comments ... I truly appreciate them all!!!!!!!

Wonderful Lois, the title too
