Painting has become a kind of therapy for me. Whether I put music on and let it guide me as I paint or if I am sitting quietly I enjoy the way it makes me feel. I use this activity to block out the problems of the everyday world. Sometimes I try my hand at scenery but mostly I like to paint abstracts. If others like what they see that is all well and good. If not, that is alright too. I was never really into art, so when someone compared some of my work to Jackson Pollack, I had to research who he was and the work he did. "Throwing paint" is a release, Sometimes I am thrilled with how it turns out and sometimes, not so much. As a young child in art class I was lucky to draw decent stick people! I could never really put on paper objects...
