My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

This was my 2020 entry into the Virginia Migratory Duck Stamp contest, the original painting inspired by a photograph by friend Mike Spillars. The painting shows a small male duck that is called a Merganser speeding along the water prior to a dive under water in his search for food.
Artist Kevin Scott Jacobs grew up in a small town called Remington ,Virginia. This is about 50 or so miles south west of Washington Dc. Kevin has been drawing as long as he can remember and credits his early education from the artist of comics as he looked up to and attempted to imitate.There is also a love of science fiction as Kevin is a huge Star Wars and Marvel movie fan. Kevin later joined the local Fire Department where he became an actual firefighter and found most of his inspiration for his fire truck drawings and paintings after he started riding and driving them. The artist today states he looks up to so many artist for inspiration ,but Kevin has been recently mentored by Disney / Kid in Me Artist Noah Elias ,Friend...
