As a storm approaches this old row boat is either sitting at the ready to rescue someone or hiding from the impeding surf waiting for another day of work. The ocean is on the other side of the opening in the rock wall. A piece of fiberglass protects the hull as it is dragged back and forth across the rocks. She looks like she has had an amazing like. Well used, weathered, reliable. She probably leaks, most wooden rowboats and dories do. I remember bailing in my grandfathers rowboat as a kid. Finding this put a huge smile on my face bringing back many memories.
