Cool shot, Wilma. I'll be in Salisbury tomorrow and might try to look this one up. Also hoping to get a redo on the Cheerwine mural near the train depot.

Wilma Birdwell replied:

This is across the train depot! Other side of the tracks!

Love it!

Wilma Birdwell replied:

Thank you Paul! Harriman was looking from I40 this weekend! Also a beautiful place!

I enjoyed viewing to photo that is looking into the past.

Wilma Birdwell replied:

Thank you, Linda, so much of my past is part of this area, it is across from the Salisbury Depot, where I got my first train ride, and the Mailman picked my Mother and I up and took us home. I was 10 days old.

I love it, Wilma. It is a billboard of history. A great find. V/F

Wilma Birdwell replied:

Thank you Charles! Salisbury is a great place.

Now how cool is this? That building is fantastic, and what a "canvas" for the Coke advertising. Wonderful that efforts are being made to save it. Thank you for posting in Abandoned and Forlorn. f/v
