This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

About CheyAnne Sexton

I first realized this when I painted "Sugar, in the Apple Orchard". I could see this wonderful friend, a white pony, come to me in my minds eye and when I put my attention to the watercolor paper and picked up my brushes, he painted himself surrounded by all the lovely spring green apple trees down in the bottom orchard, all covered in pink blooms. And that's why I paint. "Color and Light are Magic set to paper" is how I describe my watercolors. I've always seen. In my head are visions that cast a spell in my minds eye. Photography gives me a way to bring that into the light, so...

Shine can be a challenge for sure Carolyn V. Thanks so much for the comment.

CheyAnne, I too enjoy these old trucks. I like to draw the rusted ones. The colors are great and I don't have to concentrate on the shine.... ha ha Nice photo!

I hate to say it but the old escort went to pic-a-part years ago. But I do drive an old faded 1976 Ford F-250 4x4. I love it I call it the monster.
Chris Gudger
Photographs like this make me wish I had been living in a country house. Because if I did I would have my old 1968 F-100 stepside and my 1988 Escort wagon going to rust in the back yard. I love old abandoned cars. I like this.
CheyAnne Sexton replied:
You said it Chris. You know you can still do that right? Let the Escort rust out and get yourself and old vintage truck to drive around. There are more and more in in Taos all the time. I've thought of it myself
Ron Cline
One of my favorite New Mexico subjects...well captured, CheyAnne.
CheyAnne Sexton replied:
Thanks for that Ron. Do you have images of these as well?
