Pioneer buildings, dress and re-enactments are everyday at Salt Lake City, Utah's "This is the Place Monument State Park". The state of Utah in the USA has a rich pioneer heritage and it is celebrated and depicted year round at the park. Here, inside the old pioneer mercantile store, I found a more modern, albeit still old-fashioned, popcorn machine, plugged in and popping. I guess even when depicting pioneer life you still need popcorn. Original photo has had a canvas texture added via Photoshop.
