Hi ! .... My name is Ray Summers and I'm a true believer that there is a vast difference between taking a snapshot and creating a beautiful Fine Art Photograph. As a life long resident of Upstate New York, I enjoy the benefit of all four seasons, but Massachusetts' Cape Ann holds a very special place in my heart. I began my career in the early 60's lugging around the hefty Speed Graphic with 4"x5" single-sheet negatives ... times when a news or sports assignment allotted only 2 - 4 pieces of sheet film. In the 1966 came my first Nikon F ... the 'Cadillac' of' the day. Today I work exclusively with digital Nikon's (D600 and D700). My lenses vary from 16mm wide to 500mm long, with 1.4x and 2.0 extenders when needed. My Manfrotto tripod...
