I bought this mug for my Daughter Liesel and she's a fan of Clifton Mill. Especially during Christmas! A great mug and it reflects the mill during the holiday season.

This is a great picture. Shout out to John Boyd on his photography. The mig of this however is blurry and I’m disappointed. The original picture is not blurry, so I’m not sure why the print is.

This mug came out great. It’s a gift for my Dad. Thank you John Boyd and fine Arts America.

I love the mug because of the photo, the color I chose and the mug size. The only negatives are that while I knew the photo was small, it's a little too narrow. I have a Marilyn mug that I did not buy online, and it spans the entire mug as two copycat photos. Also, the inside of the mug is not smooth as most mugs are. Otherwise, it's fine, as is its price.

Artist's Description

A steam locomotive is a railway locomotive that produces its pulling power through a steam engine. These locomotives are fueled by burning combustible material, usually coal, wood or oil, to produce steam in a boiler. The steam moves reciprocating pistons which are mechanically connected to the locomotive's main wheels. Both fuel and water supplies are carried with the locomotive, either on the locomotive itself or in wagons (tenders) pulled behind. The first steam was made by Richard Trevithick on the 21st of Feb 1804. Steam locomotives were first developed in Great Britain during the early 19th century and dominated railway transport until the middle of the 20th century. From the early 1900s they were gradually superseded by electric and diesel locomotives. The earliest railways employed horses to draw carts along railway tracks.[2] In 1784, William Murdoch, a Scottish inventor, built a prototype steam road locomotive.[3] An early working model of a steam rail locomotive was designed...

About John Straton

From my Grandfathers Leica M3 To my Current OMD EM1 MK2 With Leica Autofocus and Leica R Lenses. I learned a lot from my grandfather " The Lenses are what takes the Picture The Body is a light tight box" Once photographing meant a large box camera on a tripod, shifting film plate after each shot - and working with a dark cloth over your head and the camera. But then something happened. The Leica was extremely compact and could be fitted with a very high quality lens that enabled photographers to work in ordinary outdoor settings with available light. It was always instantly ready to capture life and action effortlessly from any angle with the photographer often able to remain unnoticed. Without the usual heavy equipment, photographs...
