Thanks for the info. I will be using already existing pieces of wood that I have found. Segments from old furniture, old boards, etc. I won't be covering the entirety of the wood, so I wonder if I should use the same process. I will have to try and see if I can cover just certain parts of the material. I want some of the wood exposed.

Ray, Interesting stuff. I left a message for you back on my site because you commented on my tulips. I have a question for you. Do you prepare the wood panels with gesso first? I'm going to start working on wood and am not sure how to prepare the surface. Thanks.
