I have painted from a young age, attended many courses, tried various mediums. Oils were my favorite, until my children reached an age when they could run around and accidentally knock a work in progress over onto the carpet. Then I tried acrylics and loved the way they could be used in a watercolour style or thick,as with oils. They dry so quickly too, which suits me, both because I don't like having to wait for paint to dry, and it saved the carpets.
I paint most days and love the countryside, moors, coast, wildlife, horses, flowers and gardens.
