Beautiful! We made my old office in our home into a bar and decorated around the racing motif. My husband is an old racecar driver and manager of a race team so we have a lot of our own art. But we wanted something dramatic around which to put our own pictures and memorabilia. This beautiful piece does exactly that. We love it!

This particular photograph was our first purchase of two. We were intrigued by the subject and scene captured by Madeleine Holleman, the photographer. The colors are perfect for the room. The quality of the double matting, the choices of colors for the mats as well as the picture frames are very nice. We are extremely pleased with our order. This photo is another example of Madeleine Hollemanโs work. The colors and theme could not have been more perfect for our bedroom. This was the second piece we purchased, using the same frame and double matting. This photo is the next size larger than the first one we bought. Ordering from the same company, Fine Art America made it easy. No hassle trying to match frame colors and styles. This was perfect! Their packaging was impressive too.

This is my first true oil painting and the largest piece of artwork I have done. It took me a substantial amount of time to create this painting; over 80+hours. I've been planning on doing a painting like this for a long time, with influential African American leaders. I just didn't want it to be a collage of people. I wanted it to be a powerful and serious painting, illustrating the strong individuals in this painting. The idea for this painting developed after seeing an old Abraham Lincoln picture. The title arose from the leaders in this painting because they all had a dream that "One Day" things would get better for African Americans.
About Stacy V McClain
Stacy Victor McClain was born in Albany, Georgia one of five children. He began to demonstrate a remarkable talent for creating art at the tender age of four. Throughout his adolescent years he participated in local art exhibitions, where he won numerous awards for his artistic pieces. After graduating from Monroe High School, Mr. McClain received a four year athletic scholarship to Armstrong Atlantic University (formerly Armstrong State College) where he continued to develop, refine, and master his unique artistic style throughout his 4 year tenure as an Art major. Mr. McClain uses mixed media to create his original pieces: acrylic, pencil, pastel, and charcoal. Despite his subject matter, Mr. McClains art work continues to captivate...
