Thank you so much James! It felt like a polar exploration! We had walked out onto the ice of a frozen Lake Superior to visit the Apostle Islands ice caves in Wisconsin. We were nearly 2 miles from the start in -30degrees F, and I noted this person wearing snowshoes returning to shore. The wind was blowing hard, with the snow creating a whiteout situation at times, and I felt compelled to make an image.
