Like the logo but not the tank top so much it rides to low at the front and the back.
One Man Crosscut Saw by D Hackett
The 1864 Cracker Homestead is complete with antique furnishings and vintage farm equipment is located at the Forest Capital State Museum in Perry Florida.
One Man Crosscut Saw is a Human Powered One Man Drag Saw, is a turn of the century lever action drag saw for cross-cutting logs. The saw frame is fully adjustable for setting up to saw at an angle (when the log is not lying level) or to fell a tree.
The saw came in 5 1/2 feet blade, 6 foot blade, 6 1/2 foot blade and 7 ft long. When folded for transport and weights 55 lbs.
The company was in business from 1883 through to at least 1945. Founder was Marvin O. Smith of New Buffalo, MI, who was the inventor of the saw. After Smith died (about 1890), his widow ran the company until 1904. The company did not appear in Chicago city directories after 1904, but they were still advertising and selling their saw as late as 1942.
