Can I be the leaf here? I know you’ll say yes. Wonderful image wrapped in gold. F/L.

RC deWinter replied:

Of course...I knew you would understand. Thank you, Randy.

These softly dazzling otherworldly textures create a beautiful sub-atomic vision of reality, RC.

Many thanks, Joel

Most kind, Sharon, many thanks. I appreciate the encouragement.

Whenever I see a single leaf I think of The Last Leaf... Is it real, or was it painted here for a purpose? Back from that flight of fancy... This is gorgeous Gina. I love the warm tones of the rocks and leaf. You make rocks feel welcoming. Beautiful detail too! I love this!!! And your poem is so powerful. At first I thought the voice was the leaf, but then it wasn't, and the pain and sadness intensified. I don't know how you do it, but you always pull me in and make me feel everything you write. So, wow. l/f!

RC deWinter replied:

The original photo was actually good enough to post as is, but I wanted to change the atmosphere, because it felt too flat and contemporary. I assure you the leaf was there as you see it. I did change many of the rocks, however, in tone and placement, and also the color and feel of the curb.. So glad you like the poem as well, Meg, thank you.

Fantastic concept RC!LF
