Beautiful! The image looks so nice on the wood, very natural feel to it. The colors are not as vibrant as I was expecting, as the wood lightened some areas, but still gorgeous. Thank you!

Artist's Description
This painting is dedicated to the beauty of the spirit in each of us. The inspiration for this work is my grandmother. During a visit, my grandmother mentioned to me that although she felt very young inside, she was frustrated by her body that could not do the things she wanted it to do. It was at that precise moment that I perceived my grandmother, her aged body with an ageless spirit. I also felt strongly that this reality was not limited to my grandmother. She had only voiced thoughts and feelings that in my mind were shared by many. To provide with the best quality reproduction this painting was photographed by a professional photographer.
About Lucie Bilodeau
"Since many of us have a very busy and often stressful life, it is important for me to bring the calming and rejuvenating effect of nature into people's lives through my artwork." Lucie Bilodeau was born in Montreal, Canada, in May 1967. After spending 28 years living in the United States, she moved back to Canada in 2020. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1993. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was seven years old. When she was 14 years old, she studied at Mission: Renaissance School in Montreal, Canada. She took courses that taught her traditional fine art skills, including an in-depth study of the masters: Rembrandt, Monet, Manet, Cezanne, Fantin Latour, and others. Many of Ms....
