Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Colin Lederman
Born in 1937 in London, England, I have spent my entire professional career as a practicing Chartered Accountant. In 1996 my wife and I emmigrated to Israel, from where I continue to practice. In 2005 I joined a local art class, run by my friend and mentor Sandra Catalove, never having painted in my life. I have found it very interesting, absorbing and therapeutic. I do not have any set style or theme to my paintings; I paint what I either see visually or in my mind's eye. I usually take a photo of what I see, before painting. I use oil, acrylic or a combination of the two and paint on canvas. On one painting I have used a combination of photograph and oils, and I will mention that again next to the painting in the gallery. I hope...
