I like the case one of a kind
The 1st telephone appeared in Wisconsin in 1877 when Appleton banker Alfred Galpin ran a line from his residence to the bank. Several months later, he built a homemade switchboard for 25 telephones in Appleton. Rivaling Appleton for the earliest telephone was Platteville, having one at least in 1878.
There is so much history about the telephone I could wright for days and not get it all.
Robson's Ranch and Mining Camp was no different. AS progress continued the telephone played big part in everyday operation
