Orange Hibiscus After the Rain
Fine art photography by Connie Fox
Tightly cropped square macro image of a bright-orange ruffled hibiscus, shot in a shady garden as the sun came out after a rainstorm. Leaves and petals are filled with droplets of water. Clearly shows all parts of a flower.
Sharp focus, ultra-clean image, minimal enhancement. Hibiscus are commonly found in Hawaii and other tropical locations, but this was shot in my garden.
The same image, showing the full flower without the tight crop, can be found in this album. Image was taken with a point-and-shoot camera, my trusty Canon A630, hand-held with natural light.
