The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I am an avid naturalist and traveler who loves to document life's experiences in photography and painting. I was born in Vancouver and graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1970, and in 1979 I graduated with honours from the Art Center, College of Design in Pasadena, California. I freelance in photography and painting and teach both through private clubs, senior centres, and at a variety of venues throughout the greater Vancouver area. I still live in the Vancouver area and travel as much as I can to experience what nature has to offer. I have worked on cruise ships and still take my painting/photography students on an annual cruise to Alaska where I offer watercolour lessons on the ship while at sea. My...
