Very nice, featured in the group "Vegetables and sadads"

I love onions. But unlike you, I'll take mine grilled and on top of a nice NY Strip LOL. L

Janice Pariza replied:

LOL, I am allergic to them. Can't eat them at all. which truly makes it difficult to be a Vegan.

Purchased this in honor of my late sister who was Queens biggest fan. She literally took her last breath as we hung it up on our wall at home. She's in Phoenix, we are in Los Angeles. Every time I look at it it makes me so happy. It's our favorite piece in the house. Thank you.

The framed and matted picture of Door County's Peninsula State Park was absolutely beautiful. We gave it to our son and his fiance as an engagement gift - Peninsula State Park is where the proposal took place and they both loved it!

I purchased this for my parent's as they were sealed in this temple in the 1970's. They love it and it is hanging in their dining room. I am including the picture as well as their picture when they were sealed. Thank you! It is a beautiful picture!

Artist's Description

The 'ART' of Vegetables...I am Vegan and that is an 'ART' in itself. Onions are widely grown here on the Western Slope of Colorado in the city of Montrose. Agriculture is the #1 business. The onion, also known as the bulb onion or common onion, is used as a vegetable and is the most widely cultivated species of the genus Allium. This genus also contains several other species variously referred to as onions and cultivated for food, such as the Japanese bunching onion, the Egyptian onion, and the Canada onion. The name "wild onion" is applied to a number of Allium species but A. cepa is exclusively known from cultivation and its ancestral wild original form is not known, although escapes from cultivation have become established in some regions. The onion is most frequently a biennial or a perennial plant, but is usually treated as an annual and harvested in its first growing season.
