Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
This is a very special piece made in 1994. It is the only sculpture that was created by me, my dad (Ken) and my mom (Bev) - both Bev and Ken are deceased now. So here is the story:
I started carving this bird in my dads workshop. I put the carving down and when I returned the next day, the bill on the bird had been completely done by my father. He knew I was having a bad day, and wanted to help me out just a little. After I carved the bird I began to paint it. After months of painting I finished with the bird. I brought it over to show my mother and she informed me the color was off on the sides and breast ( I am partially color blind). Dejected, I put the bird down and went out that evening. When I returned the next day my mother was re-painting the sides and breast. I let her finish the job as both my dad and mother (they were a team) were award winning sculptures.

DON BASSETT Artist Bio Since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology, from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI in 1993, Don has been able to combine his love of wildlife with his professional life. He has worked in the conservation arena for 15 years throughout the Mid-west, and is dedicated to promulgating our wildlife biodiversity and promoting our outdoor heritage. Don began his bird carving career in 1982 at the age of 19. The major influences in his life were his dad and mom. Ken and Bev Bassett worked as a team (Ken-carving, Bev-painting).
