The lady chapel door, church of St. Thomas a Beckett, Heptonstall. The church was badly damaged in a storm in 1874 and was abandoned. The new church, dedicated to St. Thomas the Apostle was begun in 1875 and houses the original mediaeval bells. It is one of the most acoustically perfect buildings in Britain.
