this dog was easier to pose than some of the people I have painted

Everybody says 'It's in the genes"when they talk about my art. I guess that's because my father, my brother,my two sons and my brother"s son have the talent, but the sons don' treally follow it. I have a grandson and a grand daughter who also are yery talented with music. So I guess you could say I'm part of an artistic family. As far as formal training, I have zero. But I spent so much time hunting and fishing in my younger days, I think God was teaching me to observe and study nature as much as I could, because I would one day give up the hunting and fishing, and become an artist.
