Description
The City of Ouray, Colorado, USA and surrounding valley and mountains from the mountain south of the city, along US HWY 550, viewed as we were coming down from Red Mountain Pass Pass (11,008 feet above sea level). Ouray dates back to 1886 and is named after a Ute Indian Chief of the same name. The city sits at an elevation of about 7800 ft. above sea level and has a population of around 1000. A waterfall and hot springs are located in Ouray.
