Surrounded by such beautiful nature, photography has always played an important part of my life. I also spent a lot of time in the Mediterranean, and came to love the ocean. No wonder that many of my favorite photos are of the ocean, in all its beauty and mightiness and power. My love for the ocean was intensified when I moved from Germany to Mexico and then to San Diego, where I lived for 20 years.
