My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
Oya, Goddess Of The Winds And Travel.
Oya is a warrior Goddess with loving intentions. She is well known and loved for her soft and gentle side but even more well known for her fierce storms as the goddess of change. She brings down the dead wood to make room for the new. She uses Her machete or sword to clear a path for new growth. Both loved and feared in regions of Africa and the Amazon. Her promise is that what she destroys needed to be destroyed to allow change to happen. She is also thought to watch over travelers and help guide the newly departed on their new journey.
About Janiece Senn
When I was just a small child, my grand mother gave me a needle with some bright colors of thread and taught me how to do simple embroidery. My mother who used to do the most beautiful intricate crochet work also taught me the beginning stitches of crochet. My grand mother would take me across the creek, in the summer to an old dumping site that hadn’t been used in many years to search for what we called treasure. Bit’s and pieces of pottery, old metal pieces, old bottles were among the many treasures we would find there. She taught me to look at what something could be as apposed to simply what it was. That is where my art career started. That gift has come in handy through out my years as a mixed media artist, scenic artist and...
