Hi FAA! I purchased a few of your items awhile back to resell to my customers...and to share the joy your artists share. This purse I just purchased...I had given one to a friend of mine that moved away from Chicago...when we were together recently in AZ at a Cubs game...the security dept. took the bag from her when we were going through security. I bought another since I have none left in my shop...and I just sent. it to her to surprise her! She had the Cubs bag in a see through bag as required at the event stadiums and the security folks still took her Cubs bag...we believe it was due to them being AZ Cardinals fans...she had removed all her makeup from the bag and showed them there was nothing dangerous in the bag...and yet they still took it and they said they just throw the bags away...I have a funny feeling someone is benefiting from this "throwaway" program...they said they collect 1,000 of bags...ugh...glad you still had some online to help me get her a new one! Please don't share this message for a week or so...I just sent to her yesterday! Thanks!

Big Fat Art is a state of mind rather than a specific kind of art; it is all about exploring mark-making, throwing unlikely elements together to see how they dance together on the page, and keeping a lot of them in process. Jane Davies is a full time artist working in collage, painting, and encaustics. She offers workshops at her studio and nationwide, focusing on helping people to find a personal and playful approach to creating. Beginning as a potter in the early nineties, Davies gradually transitioned into freelance art, using painting and collage as her medium. For the past several years she has put most of her efforts towards teaching, writing, and having fun making art. She is the author of three books on collage and mixed media, one on ceramics, and has one DVD on painting and collage techniques.
