A high quality full pillow is provided in the case. The case has a slight texture that feels amazing to the touch. I have a number of throw pillows and this by far is the best.
My daughter got me a set of oil pastels for my birthday (last year, I think) and today I had the inspiration to use them. This is the result. Of course my love of the tropics is part of the inspiration. My first ever art created with oil pastels. I think I like painting with acrylics better, but this will be a nice change once in a while.
I am a self-taught artist. I loved to paint in elementary school, but I didn't do anything with it until my early twenties when I began tole painting wood cut out animal and other decorations that I would sell at craft bazaars for a few years. Had children and let painting go until my forties. In 2007, I discovered art trading cards and for two years I painted and sold many on eBay. Then divorce happened and I got sidetracked again. Now in my fifties I have newly committed myself because art brings me joy. In my forties, I loved (and still love) color and whimsy and also love to give things a new look.
