Hi Barbara: Thanks for the comment but it really was not a capture. It was a construction. My background is painting and drawing. I now treat pixels in digital photographs the same way I use to treat paint, ink and pencil - only pixels allow me to work 50 times faster in transferring the images I want from my brain to something for other people can see. To me a photograph is just the starting point. If I showed you what I started with in this image you would not believe it.

Thanks Russ. When I saw this woman, on the deck below me on the car ferry between Nevis and St Kitts, as the sun was setting, I was sure I could remove the extraneous and turn it into a simple but interesting image.
