great capture !!I would like so much to shoot also at Metro but I have not the courage !!! LF !

Madeline Ellis replied:

Thanks Antonis. I am not sure why you need courage to shoot at the Metro. Perhaps ignorance is bliss. I appreciate the LF as well.

I think subways are the same everywhwere. People sit in isolation. Great sho!

Gun, your comment is so true. Aren't we all travelers on the train?

Wonderful capture!!!

Madeline Ellis replied:

Thanks for your "Wonderful" comment Katerina.

Such a interesting image - there's a certain balance to how the people are positioned. They are in close proximity and yet completely focused away from each other - holding themselves close to their own personal space. VF

Christy, this is such an interesting comment and spot on. Thanks so much for your vote and making this one of your favorites.

Excellent subway shot, Madeline! It shows how subways are the same all over yet there is a sense of place (or is it my imagination? Nice B&W tones too. V/F

This turned out great. The pattern was simple and I minimized it enough to where it wouldn’t be blown out

Exactly what I expected! Fast shipping! All around perfect experience!

Very disappointed with the fabric. The colors are much more muted than they appear on line. I was hoping for a crisp colorful piece on a white background.

I like most of the products from Fine Art America. However, I think this product should be called a "sheet" rather than a Tapestry because I think of a tapestry as being woven and having some weight to it. The image is ok but somewhat blurred. This product might come in handy for tv production backgrounds with alternate images especially if the image is carried to the utmost edges.

Very nice and elegant, purchased it for my restaurant, got a lot of positive comments

I iam impressed with the art still, but with the product, not so much. The main problem with it is that it is printed from a picture with very low resolution, meaning that it can be viewed and enjoyed from rather afar. Even JPG artefacts are seen on it. Please print one in full resolution and send it to me, because this way you are not doing any good for your shop or for the benefit of the art creator.

About Madeline Ellis

At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
