.... Early in the morning,
this beautiful misty image
was captured
on the rural country back roads
of North Carolina.
The pasture was lit up
by the early morning
light and fog,
the dawn sun glowing
in the old gnarled apple tree.
The long fence-line stretches
at the base of the field,
sitting in the valley
between the Smoky Mountains
on the edge of the
Cherokee National Forest.
This meadow is almost
on the north Georgia line
and just eight miles
from Tennessee,
in the tri-state area
of the Blue Ridge
Mountain range...
