On a personnel note, I had a Family Practice Doctor for around 20 years. She chose to leave the hospital for greener pastures in another state - I gave this to her to show how much I appreciated all her care over the years.
The Peace rose, correctly Rosa 'Madame A. Meilland', is a well-known and successful garden rose. By 1992, over one hundred million plants of this hybrid tea had been sold. The cultivar has large flowers of a light yellow to cream color, slightly flushed at the petal edges with crimson, pink. It is hardy and vigorous and relatively resistant to disease, making it popular in gardens as well as in the floral trade (Wikipedia).
Complete 2006 after 14.21 hours spread over 10 days.
08-27-23 Up at around 1 AM in terrible pain in my left leg. Waited all night till around 5 AM when I told my husband that I could not walk. He took me to the Emergency room of our local hospital. And we waited. Around 11 AM I was taken to Ultrasound and then Radiology. Nothing showed up but after speaking to the doctor we both agreed that I probably strained a tendon. I was given pain meds and we got home around 2 PM - my dog was very happy to see us. Able to walk without a cane by Sunday.
