This phone case is sick! I will be ordering more for my son and myself

The picture wasn’t as clear as I expected but not bad. My main issue is that the case is very thin, not much protection. I guess for $50 I was expecting a thicker case.

Amazing photo.

This is simply stunning. I would rather put my phone face down now to always be able to see it. Seems to be holding up and not scratching so far with usage. Very pleased!

Artist's Description

Pecten scallop shell (Pecten sp.), resting on a piece of coral. This scallop is a bivalve mollusc, its two shells (red) connected together by a hinge at the bottom. The shells, made of minerals containing calcium, are ridged and interlock with each other along their edges. The hinged shells are opened and closed by a single muscle. Scallops can swim through the water by rapidly opening and closing their shells. Magnification x1.5 when printed 10 centimetres tall.

About Dirk Wiersma

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
