Millicent Lilian "Peg" Entwistle (1908-1932) was a Welsh-born English actress. Her parents divorced and she and her father Robert emigrated to the United States and he eventually remarried. In 1925 she was living in Boston and was a student at Henry Jewett's Repertory(now Huntington Theater) Entwistle found success in theater productions after a walk-on in a Broadway production of Hamlet, starring Ethel Barrymore. she later played the role of Hedvig in Henrik Ibsen's "The Wild Duck" . After seeing the play Bettie Davis told her mother "I want to be exactly like Peg Entwistle." Peg went on to be recruited by the New York Theater Guild and went on to star in various Broadway productions, working with notable actors such as George M. Cohan, Bob Cummings, Dorothy Gish, Hugh Sinclair, and Henry Travers. She went on to marry actor Robert Keith( the father of actor Brian Keith) but later divorced. In 1932, she was in Los Angeles starring in the "The Mad Hopes" with Billie Burke. After the...
