Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Karyn Robinson, Gilbert, Arizona. In my humble opinion the pepper is the most handsome vegetable. (Actually it's technically a fruit since it contains seeds.) I love their glossy skins, the variations of color and shape. They're not boring like an orange, they have character. I also happen to think they are delicious and I use them a lot in cooking and in salads. So it's no surprise that I wanted to paint this picture and celebrate the humble pepper. From Wikipedia: The color can be green, red, yellow, orange and more rarely, brown, white, rainbow (between stages of ripening) lavender and dark purple, depending on the variety of pepper. Most typically, unripe fruit are green or, less commonly, pale yellow or purple. One variety, Permagreen, maintains its green color even when fully ripe. Some red, yellow, and orange peppers come from different seeds and are different cultivars of pepper. Some red peppers are simply ripened green peppers.[6] Green peppers are less sweet and sli...

Robinson grew up in the midwest and has lived in Arizona with her husband Jeff for nearly 25 years. “When we moved to the desert southwest I was immediately taken with the exotic beauty I saw all around me. Where some saw only rocks and dirt, I saw majesty. I love the sculptural shapes of the cacti and the way light and shadow plays on their forms."
