About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Average Rating (5 Stars):

The art of Lucie Bildeau is absolutely awe-inspiring. Her amazing eye for the nature as well as visible love for the cats make me keep this gorgeous work of art. However, the craftsmanship of the mounting is something that my daughter that is in 4-th grade would do better. The mounting frame is uneven- it looks as though somebody kicked it from the side. One of the vertical boards in the frame is shorter than the parallel one resulting in some quadrilateral, but definitely not rectangle. Therefore, it hangs uneven on the wall. My husband will try to fix it. Yet, I don't think that for the price I paid already he should be involved at all. Artist's work is spotless and heartwarming- max rating. Mounting frame- horrible job; whoever did it should be ashamed of themselves for producing something like that and charging that money for such botched job. I took some pictures and can attach them to the review if needed. Buyers beware of this.

Artist's Description

Original Abstract Expressionism Painting by Elis Cooke Series: Peripheral Vision "And I'm beyond your peripheral vision, so you might want to turn your head." "Taking me seriously is a big mistake. I certainly wouldn't." "I do it for the joy it brings, cause I'm a joyful girl." Ani diFranco 'Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things." Edgar Degas The Peripheral Vision series is a new series developing imagery and markings that are subconsciously applied while in the midst of other work. Over time the paper kept to the side and used for colour tests, mark making, monoprints, brush clearing, scraping, excess paint left on the palette becomes layered with intriguing visions I use as the basis for the new work.

About Elis Cooke

Elis Cooke is a visual poet. She studied printmaking with Stephanie Rayner at the Southampton Art School. Her work has been available through galleries and online as a self representing artist since 2005. Her work is in private collections in Canada, USA, Europe and Australia. Her work was featured in an article in the July 2011 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. A series of 6 paintings have recently been installed in the Touro Hospital in New Orleans. Her process is very experimental, in the moment, intuitively responding to the materials and their properties. She continues to explore aspects of printmaking and mixed media painting to evolve and develop her vision. Elis aspires to create a spirited body of work she defines as 'otherly'....
