Erica, that is fascinating! I had no idea! (I bet you learned that from your dad, didn't you?)

Very lovely, a nice cluster of flowers and I like the texture!. Did you know that the more acidic the soil the bluer Hydrangeas are? the more alkaline the pinker they are...I am not sure how it affects hybrid varieties. That could cause the change of colors.
