Description
The color seemed to linger longer than usual. Then I was sure it was lingering longer than most. It was a winter sunset west of Tucson, Arizona that I almost gave up on until I saw a blush of color to the south. By the time I made this photograph many minutes later I had gone from 1/60th of a second exposures to 6 second exposures.
Then I realized I had made over 400 images of this magical evening as the clouds swept across the sky with continually changing colors. It was time to stop after this long, final image of the persistent pink color and contemplate the spectacle I had just witnessed. Along with contemplating the editing of so many different sunset photographs.
