PETRA ROCKS Photo Assemblage was a juried selection for the 2112 Lowell Arts Collage/Assemblage and Construction Exhibition in Lowell, Michigan.
The natural colors and sculpting of Petra's rocks grab your attention throughout Petra: in the mile-long trail through the 600-foot walled gorge leading to the Treasury, in the storage caves and tombs, along the trail to the Monastery and beyond.
The ancient city of Petra, Jordan is a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can see remnants of civilizations beginning with the Nabateans in the sixth century B.C., followed by the Greeks and Romans. Today, people from all over the world come to see this crossroad of history, nature and art.
