About Stanley Morrison
Stanley Morrison is a self-taught fantasy artist who has been drawing anything he could imagine since childhood. Besides being a fantasy artist Stanley works fulltime at an art manufacturer, which wholesales to the furniture industry, as their art director. He has designed and produced art for furniture companies such as Rooms-to-Go, Havertys, Matter Brothers, and Thomasville. Stanley took his art in a new direction in 1995 when he became enthralled with the scratchboard technique as a medium that captures and enhances the texture of fantasy creatures. How very cool!! Could you tell me how you did this? Every time I've tried adding color to scratchboard it seems to soak in to far and then I can't get the white back.. what am I doing wrong?
