Description
The eyes of Heaven,
are lighting your pain,
Mother of Life-Death.
The eyes of Earth are two roses…
the daughters of a tired sun…
Son of the Human Dimension.
I cannot pray..
do not find what to pray for..
and my look is moving in circles…
from your head… Mother..
to his head… Son..
and to the feet..
sacred makers of God´s pathways.
He seems light as a feather..
soaked in the moisted death.
Sweet carelessness..
as Death produces..
while resting in Love´s arms.
You are Huge… not frail.
You are Kali…the giver of Life..
the Promise of Death..
You are not a woman…
neither a man.
You are She… the weaver of Life..
The magnificent hips…
sustaining the Body..
ready for transformation.
I just look and see behind…
the nacar stained-glass..
windows… eyes of Heaven..
You both…
bodies…
glimmering ..like
polished ivory.
Bones….limbs… of God.

Very Touching to Heart.----------------------Anand
Rosa Cobos replied:
@ Anand: Thanks a lot so much. I wonder what your feelings could be towards this...having compared this "Dolorosa" with Khali...I ignore your "religious background"....myself I find that all are talking acout the same Soul things. Thank you very much. Rosa
Lenore Senior
Rosa~While not from a Catholic background, I have always love the pieta as a work of art, so magnificent, so full of overpowering love. This work does justice to that concept. I always find some lines in your poetry that are absolute gems of lyric beauty. The basic b&w, with subtle selective colors add to the emotion of this work. v/f
Rosa Cobos replied:
Dear Lenore...when you tell such things about my writings, I must read again the lines and see whether you are exaggerating or I have lost something. Then....as usual, I find that I like what is there, and that it simly belongs to some else, that I know, respect and that is called Rosa, but that may be is not the same as when I wrote it. This is something phylosophical...I know, but I feel thankful for you remembering me that my soul can sometimes be inspired. Rosa
Paula Ayers
a very beautiful pieta filled with the colors of sadness and passion. Your poetry is wonderful.
Rosa Cobos replied:
Thank you so much, Paula. I have an special inlking for this one too. May be because I have low coloured as the maximum, and turned this colores polichromated sculptures in a more Death-fleshy souls...almost ghostly. Thank you so much for your company and heart. Rosa
