Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. On June 1, I had to let my beautiful springer spaniel, Bailey go. She was (only) 13 but her mobility was deteriorating quickly and I couldn't carry her up and down the stairs. This painting may be named "Cassie", but it represents my Bailey perfectly! What a fantastic way for me to remember her. I got this in the metal representation and it is lovely. Will hang it once the plastic frame I ordered (from Tap Plastics) is attached.
