These are the lessor flamingo of Lake Nakuru in Kenya. They seem so proper and aloof as they strut their stuff flipping their heads as if to say..".begone peasant" So neat and orderly you are lucky to pick up a stray plucked feather...(which I did and it's in my hat band to this day) Lake Nakuru in Kenya is home to about 1 million of these snobby but beautiful works of art. They are sometimes mistaken for their friendlier cousins, spoonbills, who share their brilliant pink plumage.
