Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

It’s a Christmas gift so I’m not sure what the recipient will think. It’s a unique flamingo (which she loves) , do I know it’ll be a hit. As always, your pillows are awesome! The colors are vibrant and they hold up well.

Artist's Description

The historic Retreat Plantation of St. Simons Island, Georgia. The canals and drainage ditches now used to drain the golf courses were dug by slaves. From 1760 until the outbreak of the War Between the States, cotton and rice plantations flourished in this area. The Sea Island cotton grown here became famous the world over for its outstanding quality. Retreat Plantation was one of the most prosperous plantations and was located on the southern tip of St. Simons Island. Anna Page King, who inherited the land in 1826, planted the famous Avenue of the Oaks. It is said that Anna grew such an abundance of flowers at Retreat Plantation that sailors nearing St. Simon's Island could smell the flowers' fragrance before they saw the Island shores. Once the entrance to Retreat Plantation, the Avenue of the Oaks is now the grand entrance to the Sea Island Golf Club. Follow the drive around the magnificent double row of 160 year old live oak trees which create the Avenue of the Oaks. Today the plan...

Originally from the West coast, Barbara Kraus- Northrup studied textile and interior design in San Francisco before moving to Coastal Georgia in 1994. Her love of the photographic medium started when she was a teenager and has been a constant companion through the years. With the advent of computer driven graphics she has extended her talents into the digital realm and enjoys the myriad manipulative possibilities available with modern graphics computer programs.
