About Randy Beach
Hi my name is Randy and I am a micro photographer. I work with 150 year old Victorian microscope slides, not unlike the slides we used in school as we were growing up. The Victorians used the microscope and slides as a form of entertainment at home. Most of their slides were very static in nature, and once observed only a few times, the magic of that slide was gone and in most cases was set aside and the search for a new slide purchase was on. As time went on it became much more difficult to find unique interesting subject matter. Victorian mounters came up with a very interesting solution to the same old slide scenario.
