The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This illustration of a polar bear diving was designed in Adobe Illustrator and then painted in Photoshop using only a mouse and drawing pen, similar to traditional air brushing. Thus, although it is digitally rendered, the illustration does not contain any photographic elements.
About Tina Hariu
Tina M. Hariu resides in Marin County, CA, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. She is a scientific illustrator, muralist, and geologist with over 20 years experience in painting (oil, acrylic, and, watercolor), illustration (acrylic, pencil, and digital), and environmental consulting. In the past 5 years, she started sculpting (clay) and has found great satisfaction in 3-dimensional art (including custom cakes).
