Description
When we set out to find old wooden structures in rural Sanders County, I immediately thought of this structure that I assume is supposed to serve as a corral. The arrangement of uprights, along with the three poles in the foreground and the cross beams on a few of the uprights made me think of a rancher's version of Stonehenge, hence the name Polehenge.
Taken March 8th, 2020 in the Little Bitterroot River Valley, Sanders/Lake Counties, Montana, USA.
Nikon D810 dslr, Nikkor 24-120 mm lens set at 32 mm. ISO 250, f /16, 1/200th second. Shot in RAW format, finished in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC 2020.
